The Refuge Cities activity offers corporate teams the opportunity to understand the reality of refugees and the integration challenges they face in host cities. Through participatory dynamics, participants explore concepts such as cultural diversity, empathy, and intercultural communication. The activity includes a sensitization talk led by CEAR professionals, as well as real testimonies from refugees who share their experiences. In addition, role-playing exercises and group work are carried out to promote cohesion, mutual understanding, and collaboration. The experience ends with a group reflection to identify how to apply these learnings in the workplace, helping to create more inclusive and respectful environments within the company.
Objectives:
This corporate volunteering activity allows companies to directly contribute to improving shelters for refugees. The goal is to create more welcoming and functional spaces through small renovations and upgrades to both interior and exterior equipment. Participants collaborate in maintenance, decoration, and adaptation tasks, fostering a more dignified and livable environment. Additionally, the activity includes a sensitization session to provide context on the reality faced by refugees and their integration process. This initiative not only has a positive social impact but also strengthens team values and the participating company’s social responsibility.
Objectives:
The Sensory Gymkhana activity offers corporate teams the chance to enjoy a unique experience that combines teambuilding and social inclusion. Guided by adult students from the Jeroni de Moragas school, participants complete various challenges that help them understand the world from different perspectives. The experience includes a basketball game with reduced vision, a wheelchair mobility simulation, and alternative communication dynamics.
The activity ends with a cognitive and sensory immersion full of sensations that foster empathy and respect. This gymkhana not only strengthens team cohesion but also raises awareness about functional diversity, offering a meaningful experience for all participants. Additionally, it gives student facilitators a valuable opportunity to develop social and professional skills.

During this session, participants will work together to prepare traditional dishes from different cultures, while learning vocabulary and expressions in the corresponding language. Additionally, the activity promotes cultural diversity and empathy, as participants discover new culinary traditions and cultural perspectives. Adaptable to different levels of linguistic and culinary knowledge, this experience can be carried out either at the company’s premises or in partner professional kitchens, ensuring an enriching and flavourful day.

The Basic Kit Assembly activity offers corporate teams the opportunity to directly contribute to the well-being of refugees by preparing kits with essential items. During this session, participants work together to organize and pack materials such as non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, and basic clothing. This hands-on experience not only strengthens cohesion and teamwork but also raises awareness of the urgent needs of vulnerable communities. In addition, before the activity, a brief informational talk is given by CEAR, outlining the situations refugees face and how these acts of solidarity have a positive impact on their lives. This initiative is an excellent way for companies to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and to foster values of empathy and solidarity among employees.
Objectives:
Creative workshop where participants explore portraiture through an original and fun technique. The activity is divided into two parts: Let's Portray Ourselves, to explore artistic expression, and Visual Thinking, to enhance communication and teamwork. Groups switch to enjoy both experiences.

The Dorodango activity offers corporate teams a creative and meditative experience based on a traditional Japanese technique. Guided by an expert ceramist, participants learn to transform field soil into clay and then shape it into a smooth, shiny ball known as dorodango. This process requires concentration, patience, and mindfulness, helping participants disconnect from daily rhythms and enhance their relaxation capacity.
It also promotes team cohesion through shared moments of calm and creativity. At the end of the activity, each participant takes home their finished ball in a small box as a tangible reminder of this exercise in connection with nature and oneself. The construction of these boxes helps create safe habitats for native species, aiding in maintaining ecological balance and controlling insect populations. The activity takes place at the Urpina estate, a natural area managed by AMPANS, where teams can enjoy the surroundings while leaving a positive environmental footprint. Additionally, the participating company can take some of the constructed boxes if desired.

Before the match, CEAR gives an awareness-raising talk to share the reality of refugees and promote values such as empathy and solidarity. The activity helps break down stereotypes and build personal connections through sport, while also enhancing skills such as communication, collaboration, and mutual trust. Adaptable to different physical levels, this friendly match can be organized either at sports facilities or on company premises, offering a rewarding experience both athletically and personally.

The activity includes an introduction to the core values and basic techniques of rugby, followed by practical exercises and short matches that promote communication and collaboration. It ends with the “third half,” a relaxed space with drinks and snacks to share experiences and strengthen bonds.

The experience begins with a visual and interactive talk on marine biodiversity and the issue of waste, followed by one of two engaging options: a team quiz to test environmental knowledge or a creative challenge where participants build a sculpture using recyclable materials previously collected at work. A dynamic and inspiring experience with positive impact that connects teams with values like commitment, sustainability, and collaboration.

The Host a Plate activity is an initiative of CEAR that seeks to promote the inclusion of refugees through gastronomy. In this workshop, corporate teams have the opportunity to learn how to cook traditional recipes from various countries, guided by refugees who share their life stories and culinary culture. This experience not only enriches the participants on a gastronomic level, but also promotes team cohesion, empathy and intercultural understanding. Workshops can be held in local markets or at the company's facilities, creating a close and participatory environment. In addition, this activity contributes to improving the employability of refugees, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and facilitate their social and labour integration.
